  • How do I schedule a property showing?

    To schedule a property showing, please navigate to the ''CONTACT'' page and fill out the inquiry form. Our team will happily arrange a suitable time for you to visit the property.


  • Do I have to put an application to visit the property?

    No. You can schedule a showing before putting in an application for the property you are interested in. 

  • What is the application process for renting a property?

    Our application process involves submitting a rental application form, providing proof of income and identification, and undergoing a background and credit check. 


    The application fee is $35.00 per person. Everyone over 18 years muts complete an application. 

  • What are your rental criteria?

    Our rental criteria are: 

    • Make at least three times the amount of rent. 
    • Have a credit score over 600. A credit score of 599 or under will require a co-signer or result in denial.
    • Prior evictions, unpaid rent, or significant lease violations may result in denial.
    • Section 8/HUD/CAA are no longer accepted.

  • How long are your lease terms?

    Our standard lease term is typically 12 months, with the option to renew for another 12 months or month to month. 

  • What utilities are included in the rent?

    No utilities are included in the rent. Tenants are responsible for paying all utilities (gas, electric, water & sewer, and trash).

  • How soon can I move in after my application is approved?

    Move-in dates depend on property availability, background checks, and lease signing. Once your application is approved, our team will work with you to determine a suitable move-in date. 

  • Are pets allowed in your rental properties?

    Yes. All our properties are cat-friendly. Only single-family homes allow dogs.

Welcome to SFI Properties. We are a local husband and wife, who are proud to offer affordable, well maintained rental homes since 2006. With years of experience in the rental industry, we have successfully grown and are now able to offer over 180 homes to our local community. Our team consists of an office manager and lease specialist who are there to support your tenancy every step of the way. Our maintenance team is always keeping up and improving our properties to ensure a healthy and safe environment for your family.  


Our rentals are located in northern Columbiana County in areas like Lisbon, Salem, Hanoverton, Kensington, Guilford Lake and surrounding areas.
